Time Flies

I can't believe it has already been 30 days since my weight loss journey began.  I'm so thrilled at how far I have come and still excited to get to my goals.  At my 30 day weigh in today I have lost a total of 14 lbs. and 4 inches....I feel great!!!

Bucket List Hike

I have a fitness bucket list of things I want to try that I would have never been able to do being "unhealthy".  I'm not at my weight loss goal yet, but I feel great and wanted to get started.  I hiked up North Fork Trail in Big Pine, Ca. It was a 20 mile hike total, but I only made it to the 10 mile marker.  That's OK with me, I made it halfway and I'm only in my first 30 days of my weight loss journey. I set the next date to try and succeed again in one month.

Fitness Bucket List

I think it is a great idea to have goals for your fitness journey.  This is a little project to do to keep you motivated.  My list includes an overnight hike up Mt. Whitney, a mud run, and rock climbing...just to name a few.

160 Calorie Chicken Apple Salad

Chicken Apple Salad

1 can of white meat chicken
1 diced apple
1 tsp. Miracle Whip Lite (or greek yogurt)
1 tsp. Feta Cheese
Pepper to taste

Motivation

Some helpful motivational tools for me is first having a "SPACE" for just me....I have my treadmill, TV, ipod dock, goodbye photos, and motivational poster of pictures and sayings, my measurements, and most of all my calendars (90days), which was another dollar store find :)

Seeing is Believing

I'm a visual learner...I need to see it to believe it!!  I did this little project to keep me visually informed on my weight loss challenge.  Now, I'm also a bargin shopper, so I literally only spent $4.00 on this, all materials are from the dollar store.  Check out www.pinterest.com for other great ideas.
