Fitness Bucket List
I think it is a great idea to have goals for your fitness journey. This is a little project to do to keep you motivated. My list includes an overnight hike up Mt. Whitney, a mud run, and rock climbing...just to name a few.

Some helpful motivational tools for me is first having a "SPACE" for just me....I have my treadmill, TV, ipod dock, goodbye photos, and motivational poster of pictures and sayings, my measurements, and most of all my calendars (90days), which was another dollar store find :)
Seeing is Believing
I'm a visual learner...I need to see it to believe it!! I did this little project to keep me visually informed on my weight loss challenge. Now, I'm also a bargin shopper, so I literally only spent $4.00 on this, all materials are from the dollar store. Check out www.pinterest.com for other great ideas.

Less Than 200 Calorie Pizza
I was craving pizza today for lunch. The easy thing to do was call for pizza delivery, but I knew I could come up with something from the fridge and let me tell you, THAT was a great decision.....it was YUMMY!!! Places like Pizza Hut is between 170-300 calories per slice depending on the toppings. I made a personal size (4 slices) pizza which totaled under 200 calories for the whole pizza. Here is the recipe...(and of course, served on a blue plate)
1 whole wheat pita pocket
1 tbs. of low fat alfredo sauce
diced roma tomato
diced red onion
a few raw spinach leaves sliced
1 tbs. of feta cheese
1 tbs. of shredded mozzarella cheese
Bake on a pizza stone at 375 for about 10-15 mins.
DELISH!!

The Blue Plate Special
I heard either on "The Doctors" or "Dr. Oz" show, that the color blue is an appetite suppressant. If you are trying to lose weight you should put your food on a blue plate...what the heck, I'll try anything. Went to the dollar store and BAM I got a blue plate for $1.00. Here is a link to the BLUE theory.
